COSTCO CANADA RECALLING KIRKLAND SIGNATURE BRAND ROASTED CHICKEN SALAD #Recall #COSTCO

Costco Canada is recalling Kirkland Signature brand roasted chicken salad because of possible listeria contamination.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency issued the recall on Friday for products carrying best-before dates up to and including April 3, 2015.

CFIA says the recalled products, which were sold in all Canadian provinces except for Prince Edward Island, should be thrown out or returned to the store.

No illnesses have been reported.

CFIA says food contaminated with listeria may not look or smell spoiled, but can still make you sick.

Symptoms can include fever, muscle aches, nausea, diarrhea, headaches and neck stiffness, and the infection can be the most dangerous for newborns, older people, and pregnant women.
