Important Information about these FPC’s in July!

As many of you are aware last time General Mills did this we all rushed to the store to get the cereal on the one day our coupon was able to be used and NO stores had any! It was very frustrating for both customers and stores. A few Amazing Coupon Nannie fans reminded me of this when this offer was posted soooooooo I decided to do some investigating!!

• The stores had NO idea of these 8 new Products!
• The stores had NO idea of this promotion!
• It takes about 4-6 weeks for a store to “merchandise” new products (ordering, new UPCS, update to cash registers, shelf space, etc)

I contacted:

• Shoppers Drug Mart – Indicated each store does it’s own ordering and we must contact EACH Shoppers Drug Mart to advise them of the product and promotion!
• Sobeys – Sobey’s was AWESOME ~ Read below ~
• Super Store/Loblaws  – No response as of yet 🙁

Shelly at Sobey’s was wonderful 🙂 I had sent her a picture of the products as advertised the 8 new ones, and pictures of the coupons and a link to the websaver offer.

A few emails back and forth and!!

Sobey’s is working their butts off trying to get it in all the stores in time for July 16th!! That’s positive 🙂 I must say I am quite impressed that Sobey’s not only responded to our inquiry but it doing everything they can to make sure everyone is happy 🙂 I think that’s pretty good considering I am just one person who emailed them advising them and they responded and appear to be trying hard 🙂

They have a copy of the products and what the coupons look like so they are aware and you should not have any issues with your coupons 🙂

If I get any more information from any additional stores I’ll be sure to update you. If you want to give your local Shoppers a call and inform them and see what you can find out that would be great. Please let us know 🙂 Let’s help each other have a successful FREEBIE day 🙂
