When I am out and about shopping people often see me with lots of coupons and a remark I hear many say is “I always forget my coupons at home”. I understand that totally 🙂
We know there is an app for just about everything and people are always using their tablet, phone or computer. Now you don’t need to worry about remembering your coupons 🙂 As the saying goes “There is an App for that”
In this case there are a few 🙂 Here are my favorite shopping Apps & I’ll tell you why 🙂 It doesn’t require you to clip any coupons at all 🙂
Checkout51 – This one has been around the longest and in that time I have earned $851.69 🙂 Kelloggs, Christie, Unilever products such as Hellmans appear to be common featured products, Similac, Zantac have also made appearances frequently. Personal Hygiene products are also featured. Products vary from week to week however some do make appearances several weeks in a row. Here is an example of a few of the offers you may see! It tells you exactly how much you’ll get back 🙂
Each week New offers are posted are are valid until 11:59PM ADT Wednesday. You are able to claim one of each offer unless otherwise stated. An example would be the Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream; If you purchased 3 of them you are only able to get credit back for one of them ! Check each offer and it will tell you if you can claim more than one. Each person in your home can have an account provided they have their own device. If I wanted to buy and get credit for say 2 of the Similac $5; both myself and I could buy them the item separately and each scan our own receipt. When your account hits $20 you can request a check.
You don’t need to remember to take coupons with you (You can use a coupon on the product in store if you like and still use the receipt when you get home – please double check the offer as some do have restrictions that prevent you from using a coupon, I personally find these are mostly on P&G products); when you come home simply upload (by taking a picture) of your receipt and claim your offers. It is just that simple! Checkout51 is supported by IOS (iPhone,iPad, iPod) & Android Devices and online! They currently support the United States (the 50 states of the United States, the District of Columbia, Overseas US Military Bases, Puerto Rico) and Canada.. Caddle has gained popularity with shoppers recently. It is reliable, it has new offers each week, usually opportunities to earn a bit by answering a quick poll, watching a commercial.
Zweet one second oldest! I have earned $237.49 There is a $20 payout via check. New offers come out each Tuesday. Offers are limited and have not changed much. They appear to be on its way out in my opinion. They also assign points but that is limited to 5 points per item and you can redeem for gift cards. I have only ever redeemed points once for a $5 gift card. If you have this, I would try to find a way to cash out at your earliest convenience.

Save.ca is the newest that just launched. It’s from the same Save.ca we all get our coupons from.I received my first paypal payment of $5 and very quickly I might add. There is a $5 payout via paypal.

Can I use one receipt on multiple apps? Yes you can. If milk shows on all the apps you can claim it on all of them. There is nothing in the terms in conditions of any of the apps that prevents you from doing so for now.
Can I use coupons and claim cash back? Yes you can use a coupon on a product and claim cash back, Very often you can make free or be ahead of the game.
Is there only one per household? Read the terms of each app as they vary from app to app.
How long does it take for receipts to be approved? Depending on the app and the time of week (eg. Weekends may take longer) it can take up to 5 days to get credit so hold on to your receipt 🙂
PC Points – A new twist on an old program. I have redeemed $400 in points for groceries since it began!! Previously you could only gain PC points that could be redeemed for groceries at Loblaws with your credit card or checking account. Now you can earn points with your credit card & the new loyalty card. Now in flyers you see bonus points offers that you earn points just by buying those products. Customized offers that are unique to you are able to be downloaded to your card on your app or the PC every week! 20 000 points = $20 in Free Groceries and the minimum amount is $20 to cash out. The great thing about this program is it can be combined with other offers. Customized offers can be used once only but can be used on multiple products if purchased at the same time (See the example to the right with the mouthwash) New customized offers are available Thursday – Friday depending on your location and are only valid for a week, If you have the phone app they can be downloaded there or you can download them online by clicking here! Be sure to check for a secret offer here each week!
I also have the Reebee app on my phone as I can have all my local flyers at my fingertips. If I go shopping out of town I can easily pull up those flyers as well 🙂
